Job Title: Vice President, REO
Summary: The REO Vice President will manage a diverse commercial real estate portfolio and lead a team of Asset Managers and Analysts to maximize returns, reduce costs, and drive corporate goals. This role requires strong market knowledge, asset management expertise, and project management experience. The VP will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, manage team performance, and oversee asset strategies, dispositions, and leasing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with external parties (attorneys, brokers, etc.).
- Review and execute asset management and disposition strategies.
- Understand CMBS processes and manage REO pipeline.
- Oversee Asset Managers and Analysts, providing feedback on valuations and market strategies.
- Monitor budgets and sales/leasing activity for the portfolio.
Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 8-10 years of real estate experience, including underwriting and asset management.
- CMBS experience preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & Word; Argus or Val software knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze legal documents and manage multiple projects.
- Occasional out-of-state travel required.
